Buy BPS Stalker The best pump there is. For most companies, the pump shotgun is an entry-level item built for the beginner. We don’t see it that way, knowing there are shooters who demand the highest quality and reliability from their pump shotgun. The BPS uses a rugged, machined steel receiver, steel internal components and twin steel action bars for long-lasting, bind-free, pump-action performance. browning bps stalker browning bps stalker 10 gauge
Working gun is an understatement. This is the go-to gun of many of the most serious, extreme condition bird hunters. Totally reliable and totally durable. The composite stock and forearm are made to be tough. The blued finish on steel parts — and there are a great many of them — is deep and protective. The slightly high ventilated rib gives a good view of your target. browning bps stalker 12 gauge review

Browning has really out done its self with the BPS shotgun. Probably the smoothest and most refined pump action shotgun on the market today. They are a little more expensive than the competition, but as many of you know when it come to firearms you get what you pay for!

I bought the all-weather, stainless-and-synthetic version of this weapon. Mine is a 12ga with the 20″ barrel and its intended use is for home defense and close range tactical. It is very lefty-friendly, owing to the top-tang safety, location of the slide release and bottom ejection port.
The recoil is not uncomfortable and even my wife remarked that it shoots more like a medium caliber rifle than a 12ga shotgun, especially when using loads specifically designed tor close range work.
The action is silky smooth and this weapon is remarkably intuitive to use.
Why Browning has decided to discontinue this model confounds me. It is a fine piece of gunsmithery and belongs in the arsenal of anyone serious about home defense and tactical operations.

Great pump shotgun! Really appreciate the bottom eject as a lefty shooter. Taken it out for turkey and waterfowl as well as skeet shooting and performed well. Only issue is that for the price I wish it came with iron sights and not just a bead. Also it is an invector plus so chokes are more expensive

The barrel I needed was for the “Silver” Stalker BPS model. Even after going to browning’s web site and looking up the serial number, I was not able to determine what barrel I actually needed. So this was a very confusing process. Optic’s Planet shipped the barrel as they should have with no problems. But the return / exchange process is somewhat slow. The return will not be processed until they receive the the part back at their facility, as they should, but I shipped it two weeks ago and they just received it yesterday. I’m sure the replacement barrel will be on back order as the first one was for 3 to 4 weeks. I wish I would have just returned the barrel and ordered a new one outright. Turkey season starts in two weeks and I was hoping to have this shotgun set up for this season.

This is the first Browning I have purchased, the wood is good quality, the action is smooth as silk, I am a fan of the top tang safety and bottom eject. The trigger is my favorite out of all the different shotguns I own. First time out it downed a few Canadian geese. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality shotgun for a reasonable price.

After doing a lot of research online to find a great gun that I could use for both turkey and waterfowl, I decided to check this one out. I trusted the Browning name and as soon as I went to the store to look I was sold. The gun was a bit longer than I was expecting, but that’s not a problem. It feels well built, has never jammed on me, and I really like the top-tang safety and bottom ejection. It’s a great investment, not to mention it looks great. I would def recommend.
absolutely the best online shop

i got one of these bps and i love it. kills em all. i love how the bead looks and easy to line up. a little heavy but i like that so those 3 1/2s dont kill my shoulder. smooth gun and has never had it freeze. benilli’s freeze before these do. minimum rust and ive put this thing through heck. underwater, in rain, mud puddles. name it and its been there. never missed up

Its a great gun. The only problems I have with it is that it could feel a little more sturdy, the pattern could be a little tighter with all of the chokes it comes with, but in all, its an amazing little gun. My dad has had one for over 37 years and hasn’t had a problem with his yet (and its had it’s fair share of abuse). The finish of the wood is beautiful (but like all duck hunters know that won’t last for long). My personal thought about this gun is that although its on the expensive side it’ll last as long as three cheaper ones, and several generations.

I purchased one of these just over 10 years ago now as my first shot gun. Thousands of rounds later and its still love it just as much as the day I brought it home. This gun has seen dirty sandy conditions, mud, rain and has never let me down. Requires very little maintenance. And of course the superb balance of this gun makes it handle like a dream, even better than many lighter guns I’ve had the pleasure of firing.

I have had this gun now for the 12th year and it works the same as the day I bought it. I have never had it fail me! With it not having a side ejection port. You eliminate dirt and grim getting into the action. I have looked at getting a new Browning but with the performance of this one makes it really hard!

I just went out deer hunting with my browning bps upland special pump action invector model. it is a great gun because it is very light and has minimal recoil. and the shorter barrel helps when in a very small tree stand

I bought this a month ago for a waterfowl trip to Saskatchewan. After a day on the range shooting sporting clays before hitting the fireld i was confident. Being a south paw this gun is one of few options for me. It is a great fit and just fun to shoot. It worked under adverse conditions in swath hunts and wet weather when others were jamming up. I even managed my limit of Canadians after taking 4 birds in 3 shots! Cannot ask for more than that. Well built gun i will be able to pass down to my kids one day.

i presently own two of these in 12 and 20 ga. configurations.
they have harvested everything from rabbit , squirrels , pheasant , and turket. to date i shot my biggest buck to date with the 12ga..the action is smooth , the top tang safety is handy for left or right handed shooters. the raised vent ribs are great for target acquisition . you can’t go wrong with this one . enjoy!

The only problem for myself with this quality shotgun is they shoot high for me. Close shots this is not much of a problem , but longer shots 30 yards and further I must aim under target 6 to 10 inches depending on distance. I do like the BPS and have several in 12ga and 20ga and would recommend this shotgun

I bought this gun to pheasant hunt in North Dakota when the weather is frigid. Most auto loading guns wont function when the weather is in the -20’s and colder. Of course the BPS was flawless. Swings great and fits perfect!
